we’ve moved in!

August 6, 2008

The house is painted and, for the most part, our stuff is all here. As everything sits in boxes, I’m sort of regretting the decision to freecycle all our furniture after our last move. I’d love to unpack, but I’ve got nowhere to put anything! Eek. On NPR this morning they were discussing the recent surge in thrift store shopping due to the recession that’s not a recession. I’m sure we’ll be scouring thrift stores for shelves and things soon.

Pictures of the chaos…

Due to a vote and laziness, the living room is staying this color.

The bed is in the middle of the sea of clothes, making the room appear very small.

The dining room and kitchen are full of boxes of wine. Seriously.

All the boxes are full of wine. We are lushes who are too busy to drink.

The boxes here are also wine. Really, we have no food in the kitchen, just vino.

I do like that you were able to keep the FIESTA spirit alive by keeping the living room painted as is (not so bright and looks pretty smooth paint job wise) and bringing in all the boxes of vino 🙂
