Apparently annoying the city and the police about your new, illegal, neighbors works.  There were city & utilities people out the last few days checking the property, and today someone came and put new locks on the house.  I also overheard that the house is bank-owned and for sale from the city person who was out yesterday.  It really is a cute house if anyone is in the market for some cheap (seriously, CHEAP) real estate.  Paul and I would be good neighbors!
