hooked

January 8, 2009

I’ve been eying hooks and shelves with hooks and coat racks for some time now, trying to figure out how to make our front door area less piles of coats on the ground and more organized.

Joanna Goddard posted this image from Marie Claire Maison that makes me feel like adorable duck hooks may be the way to go.

This swan hook from Anthropologie would be a good start (and it’s not too expensive at $14).

Restoration Hardware also has a ton of options that might work, from plain to kitchy and at a variety of prices.

And then, not surprisingly, Target has some cheap, cute hooks.

I think I’m going to have to get Paul on board with this idea before I start drilling holes in the wall by our front door, but I’m really liking it.

Ps- If SouleMama.com and her sweet little baby Harper, doesn’t make you coo, then you have a heart of stone.

    Hey Katie,

I just noticed a little collection of hooks at the antique store at the corner of X and 21st (near the Bee Store). They were sitting on a shelf near the register…🙂
