Keeping lists

January 29, 2009

Paul had to work in Marin today, and having nothing better to do, I came with him. We’ve been sitting in a coffee shop due to a canceled meeting so I’ve been browsing Mighty Girl. On her site she has a list of 100 things to do, which she crosses off as she goes. Apparently keeping the list on her blog, publicly, has changed her life.

I’m not really in need of major life changing. And I have a hard time believing that keeping public lists motivates dramatic change and action. But I can see that I’d probably check off the small stuff faster if I actually had a place to check it off (and if I had an ongoing list of things to do).

So I’m thinking about what would currently be on my list. And it will probably appear on a sidebar in the near future.
