Second, CLUCK (Campaign for the Legalization of Urban Chicken Keeping), has a hearing coming up on October 5th.  Ignore stuff that says it was on the 21st.  The date was changed.  Before the hearing we encourage you to contact your city council member (info here) to pledge your support.  Also, there are new tee-shirts for those of you who would like one.  I’ll probably be at the event tomorrow selling them ($15 for the public, $12 for CLUCK members).  I begged for women’s shirts, so people please buy them!  There are also new men’s shirts.

Crappy picture of me, but you get the idea. It says "CLUCK" on the back..

The shirts won’t be living with us permanently, but if you want one I can probably tell you where to get one.  Or if you ask me soon enough I can save one for you.

I can mail you one. Just email me your size (women’s small-large) and color preference (it’s either that green or a bright red).

Even though I live in unincorporated Sacramento and I have chickens with no legal worries, CLUCK is something I strongly support. Do you have them in any other colors but red and green?

Nick-The men’s shirts come in bright green (the color I have on) and a gray/sage color. If you want one, let me know and we can either mail you one, you can pick one up at the hearing next Tuesday, or you could come by the next CLUCK meeting.
