Hazel

November 17, 2010

Hazel is driving me insane the last few days.  We planted some really nice new native plants in the backyard over the weekend (to replace others that she destroyed) and she’s already shredded one of them.  Sighhhhh.

She also thinks she’s a person.  Do you see this?  She actually puts herself under the covers on the bed and sleeps with her head on the pillow.

Well, the under the covers thing is adorable. Annoying, but adorable.

I think she is tired after destroying the plant 😛
    Pretty darn cute though

I love that dog. Dogs who like to sleep with their heads on pillows, I’ve seen. Only Hazel would somehow decide that she wants to be under covers, and figure out how to pull them up over herself. She’s so smart, I think she watches you and thinks, “This is how we sleep.”

Dad-I agree. It’s sometimes very frustrating, but she is really smart. I actually think the plant thing is a similar issue. If she doesn’t actually see us plant the plants she doesn’t tend to dig them up. But if she sees us, I think she thinks the digging looks fun and then almost immediately wants to dig up the plant.
