Rudi’s gluten free cinnamon raisin bread

Gluten-free or not, I’ve just found some of my favorite sliced cinnamon raisin bread ever.

Yesterday I was browsing through the Co-op’s freezer section looking for something easy to make for dinner (I had my last final today so I wasn’t up for major cooking).  Rudi’s Gluten-Free cinnamon raisin bread was on sale, so I thought I’d give it a try.  I haven’t been super impressed with g-f breads so far, but I momentarily confused it with Udi’s (which I’d heard good things about), so I bought a loaf.

I swear, I think P and I have consumed half of the loaf of bread today.  It is so, so good.  The texture is like wheat bread, it actually browns when it toasts (unlike the gross english muffins I was buying), and it has a good cinnamon to raisin flavor ratio.  I was going to take a picture of my toast to show you, but I ate it first.  Maybe I’ll just toast up another slice…

It’s currently on sale and I’m seriously considering buying as many loaves as I can fit in my freezer.
